Job summary

Jetson in Ontario, CA seeks a full-time electrical installer to remove gas furnaces, install heat pump systems, and work with engineering to streamline installs. You will read blueprints, upgrade panels, and ensure code compliance, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

This role offers hourly pay from $34 to $41, health and dental coverage, education support, and a variety of employee benefits including a 401k program. In-person work location: Ontario, CA.

Qualifications

• Extensive residential retrofit experience required.
• Journeyman/Licensed electrician in Ontario, CA preferred; other licenses considered.
• Familiarity with SMART panels, splitters and sub-panels.
• Strong knowledge of modern residential electrical building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Physical stamina for manual labor tasks; valid driver's license.

The Opportunity

We are looking for individuals in Ontario, CA with deep residential electrical install experience to help us improve processes and procedures that will ensure high quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for working as a part of a crew to remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with engineering teams on how the product can be improved and the install process streamlined.

What You'll Do:

• Install required electrical to support heat pump installs

What You Bring:

• Extensive residential retrofit experience required
• Journeyman/Licensed electrician in Ontario, California and surrounding areas preferred but other licenses or certifications considered
• Well versed in newer technologies like SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, to optimize when faced with main panel or full service upgrades
• Well versed in modern residential electrical building codes
• Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34 - $41 per hour
