Job summary

Crimson Group is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Midland, Texas, to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in various industrial settings such as Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas. The ideal candidate will possess a Texas Journeyman Electrician License and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Job description

The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings.

What you will be Doing:
  • Respond to service calls quickly and within the expected timeframe.
  • Discuss the customer’s request for repairs or installation and provide estimates for cost and timeline.
  • Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings for installations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested.
  • Conduct all repairs and installations according to code.
  • Notify client immediately if the plan needs to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
  • Experience with leading construction projects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
  • Bend and install rigid conduit.
  • Understanding of instrumentation devices.
  • Motor terminations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Customer service skills.
