Responsibilities

• Uphold company safety standards at all times.
• Plan and install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local codes.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain electrical systems using testing tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Repair or replace wiring, components, and fixtures with precision.
• Read blueprints to determine proper layouts and ensure safety and code compliance.
• Direct and train team members on installation and repair work.
• Be available for overtime and irregular hours as needed.

Your Qualifications

• Proof of a current Texas or New Mexico Journeyman or Master Electrician License is REQUIRED.
• 2–4 years of electrical experience in construction or maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of hand tools, electronic equipment, and machinery; precision and steadiness are essential.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Good visual acuity for reading schematics and detailed work, including color distinction for wiring and safety signals.
• Necessary hearing to detect alarms and signals in noisy environments.
• Access to various locations within a facility, including climbing ladders and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work in diverse conditions, including outdoor weather extremes and dusty, noisy, hot, or cold environments.
• Ability to wear PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and respirators.
• Must be able to drive to customer sites.
