Job summary

Aerotek in Minnesota seeks a licensed Journeyman Electrician to work on large-scale commercial and industrial projects across Minnesota, including Mankato. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, data centers, and industrial plants.

The role requires conduit experience, reading blueprints, and a strong safety mindset. Travel and overtime may be required; per diem is provided, and the position is onsite with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License.
• Proficiency bending and installing EMT, RMC, IMC, and PVC conduit.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of NEC and Minnesota electrical codes.
• Experience installing and terminating power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
• Experience installing switchgear, transformers, MCCs, disconnects, panels, and lighting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying jobsite conditions.

Responsibilities

• Run and bend EMT, RMC, IMC, and PVC conduit.
• Install cable trays, wireways, rigid conduit, and underground electrical systems.
• Pull wire and terminate power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
• Install switchgear, transformers, MCCs, disconnects, panels, and lighting systems.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Perform equipment hookups and assist with startup and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all installations meet Minnesota electrical code requirements and NEC standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
• Maintain documentation of completed work, inspections, and design changes.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.

Per Diem: $135 per day, 7 days per week(regardless of jobsite location)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10-hour shifts | Saturday, 5-hour shift

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join a growing team working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout Minnesota(current project is in Mankato MN) and surrounding areas.

This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, data centers, industrial plants, and commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with conduit systems, switchgear, motor control centers, electrical distribution systems, and industrial power installations. Candidates should be able to work independently, read and interpret electrical drawings, and maintain the highest levels of safety and workmanship on active jobsites.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Minnesota electrical codes.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
