Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. seeks an experienced electrician to join our Kentucky team. Primary duties include wiring, bending and threading conduit, troubleshooting circuits, and completing electrical installations for commercial and industrial sites.

Candidate should have strong NEC knowledge, be able to read blueprints, and pass background and drug screening. Own tools, a valid driver’s license, and a dedicated work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of electrical experience recommended.
• Proficiency with NEC and local codes.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Wiring
• Bending, Threading, EMT and Rigid conduit
• Troubleshooting and completing electrical circuits
• Complete transformers, motor control, switchboards, and lighting applications
• Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, and other reference material
• Receive and complete work orders
• Capable of training Electrical apprentices
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Operate tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures
• Versatile to work in commercial and industrial environments
