Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating, and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be required to perform all types of electrical work in commercial construction and healthcare environments. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following:

1. Wiring
2. Bending, threading, EMT, and rigid conduit
3. Troubleshooting and completing electrical circuits
4. Completing transformers, motor control, switchboards, and lighting applications
5. Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, and other reference material
6. Receiving and completing work orders
7. Training electrical apprentices
8. Working with minimal supervision
9. Operating tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures
10. Working in commercial and industrial environments

Qualifications

1. Kentucky electrical license is recommended but not required
2. 5+ years of experience recommended
3. Valid driver's license
4. Own hand tools
5. Proficiency with NEC and local codes
6. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
