Freedom Forever is currently hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician based out of our Branch in Lubbock, Texas!
Position Summary:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll bring technical expertise to safely plan and execute electrical work for residential solar projects. You’ll ensure compliance with all codes and standards while delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical work in compliance with NEC, OSHA, AHJ, and utility standards
- Assemble and install all components of residential solar systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and system issues
- Complete MPUs and install solar batteries (Tesla, Enphase, Span, SolarEdge)
- Maintain accurate documentation and update job status in company systems
- Collaborate with branch leadership to meet licensing and labor ratio requirements
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- ValidTexas Journeyman Electrician LicenseorWireman License(required)
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Experience with MPUs and solar battery systems
- Proficient in conduit bending (EMT) and use of electrical tools
- Ability to read and interpret single- and three-line drawings
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Working knowledge of current NEC codes
