Job summary

Aecon is hiring qualified Journeyman Electricians to support electrical construction on the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas. The role requires safety focus, attention to detail, and experience in industrial or large commercial environments.

You will install, terminate, and test electrical systems, read drawings, perform conduit and wiring work, and coordinate with foremen and other trades. A Texas license (TDLR) and OSHA 10 are expected, with opportunities for extended hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician experience (industrial or large commercial preferred).
• Must provide a valid Texas DLR number upon acceptance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical installation standards.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• OSHA 10 required.
• Experience on semiconductor, industrial, or data center projects.
• Experience working in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Lift, scissor lift, and/or boom lift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and NEC.
• Perform conduit installation (EMT, RMC, PVC) and cable tray installation.
• Do wire pulling and terminations; install equipment and grounding/bonding.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and layouts.
• Follow all site safety rules and participate in daily safety meetings.
• Coordinate work with foremen, superintendents, and other trades.
• Maintain quality workmanship and productivity standards.

What You'll Do Here

What You Bring To The Team
