What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
2. Repair and Maintain Electronic Equipment: Service, repair, calibrate, and test machines, devices, electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment across various plant systems.
3. Troubleshoot and Diagnose Equipment: Detect and resolve electrical wiring, appliance, fixture, and machinery problems to improve reliability.
4. Inspect Equipment, Structures, and Material: Conduct scheduled checks to identify malfunctions and unsafe conditions.
5. Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and Documentation: Use technical documents to ensure safe and effective installation procedures.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

1. Experience: Previous construction or industrial electrical experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of Best Practices: Strong understanding of electrical codes and theory; motor control knowledge is a plus (NEC, NESC, MSHA).
3. Flexibility: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, tolerate loud noises, and work overtime as needed.
4. Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of electrical tools, their uses, and maintenance.
