Job summary

Elite Electrical Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our growing team in Connecticut. You'll install and repair wiring, fixtures, and control equipment, and supervise apprentices on the job.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in the electrical trade, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Pay ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 per year, with weekly pay and benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k),

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years experience in the electrical trade.
• Able to work well on a team.
• Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Remain in compliance with the current National Electric Code.
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
• Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
• Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs, and test for adequate operation.
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
