Job summary

1ST CHOICE ELECTRIC INC is seeking a skilled Electrician to join the team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, as well as training apprentices on the job.

Journeyman Electrician with a can-do attitude who takes pride in the work is desired. Responsibilities include following safety rules, performing site drives, maintaining a safe environment, and interpreting blueprints to determine materials and requirements for installation

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Three or more years experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.
• Must know how to run and bend conduit.
• Must be able to work on live panels and junction boxes.
• Able to work on lifts and ladders.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Strong understanding of math and measurements.
• Professional appearance and courteous personality.

• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials needed.
• Install new electrical systems and repair existing systems.
• Take offs from scope of work; proper count of material.
