Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to support commercial construction projects across Michigan and the Great Lakes region. You will read drawings, troubleshoot systems, and install electrical equipment safely and efficiently on active sites.

Qualified candidates hold a Michigan Journeyman license (or be able to qualify) with strong field experience. A company vehicle, gas card, per diem, and comprehensive benefits are provided, along with fast-tracked advancement

Qualifications

• Must hold a Michigan Journeyman Electrician license or be eligible to qualify.
• Strong commercial electrical construction background.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot independently.
• Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, panels and switchgear.
• Knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems for commercial construction and renovation projects.
• Install and bend EMT, RMC, and other conduit/raceway systems.
• Pull, terminate, and test conductors, feeders, and branch circuits.
• Work with 120V, 208V, 277V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.

Salary: $40 - $50 per hour

We are an Electrical Contractor seeking experienced Journeyman Electrician's to support commercial electrical construction projects throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes states. This position is ideal for an electrician with strong field experience who can work independently, read drawings, troubleshoot electrical systems, and complete installations safely and efficiently.

• Strong commercial electrical construction background.
• Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, panels, transformers, and switchgear.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical issues independently.
