Job summary

Jobot, an Electrical Contractor, seeks Journeyman Electricians to support commercial electrical construction in Michigan and the Great Lakes region. The role requires strong field experience, ability to read drawings, troubleshoot electrical systems, and complete installations safely and efficiently.

Salary ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, with a company vehicle and gas card, per diem, and an excellent benefits plan.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician license or ability to qualify.
• Experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, panels, transformers, and switchgear.
• Knowledge of the NEC and commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems for commercial construction and renovation projects.
• Install and bend EMT, RMC, and other conduit/raceway systems.
• Pull, terminate, and test conductors, feeders, and branch circuits.
• Work with 120V, 208V, 277V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
