This role can be based anywhere in Texas or the Southeast US. You will travel to projects.

About Knight Electric:
Knight Electric is an electrical contractor focusing on commercial construction and remodels. Our culture and continued investment in our employees set us apart from the others. We do work for big-box retailers like Target, Costco, Walmart, and similar.

About this role:
We are currently looking for Electricians to work on commercial electrical construction projects.

Compensation:

• $29.00 - $35.00 per hour with a State Electrical License or equivalent.
• Full medical, dental, 401K, and other great benefits.

Travel:

• Projects are in the Southeast United States.
• Travel is estimated at 75%
  • Usual travel is for 3-week sprints and back for 2 days, etc. consecutively.
• All expenses are paid along with per diem, mileage, and we pay for your hotel if you are traveling.

Minimum Requirements:

• State Journeyman's Electrical License or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects.
• Ability to work in various angles or surfaces, such as climbing ladders.
• Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with running conduit, wiring, and terminating devices.
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a remodel/open store setting.
