Join to apply for the Journeyman Electrician role at Facility Solutions Group.

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. The ideal candidate will mentor Apprentice Electricians and promote FSG's core values through excellent customer service and safety assurance.

1. Prepare sketches showing wiring and equipment locations, following diagrams or blueprints, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed.
2. Plan new or modified installations to minimize material waste, facilitate future maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with codes.
3. Design layout and install electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specifications and local codes.
4. Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels, Buss, Busbar, electrical feeders, and switchgear.
5. Repair faulty equipment or systems.
6. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems.
7. Advise management on potential hazards of equipment operation.
8. Meet attendance standards and follow absence notification procedures.
9. Maintain current electrician's license or ID card to comply with regulations.
10. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a current Electrician’s License.
11. Require 3-5 years of experience in the field and a valid driver’s license.
12. Must be organized, able to multitask, and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
13. Experience in lighting is a plus.
