Job summary

Standard Energy Solutions in Columbia, MD is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on grid modernization projects and requires independent work, strong customer service, and NEC compliance.

Annieced responsibilities include installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, solar components, and related equipment. A new hire bonus of $5,000 is available after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Electrical and/or Service experience.
• Journeyman Electrician License is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot lighting, panels, disconnects, conduit, solar panels, inverters.
• Ensure NEC code compliance and safety standards.
• Operate and manage tools and inventory.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed.
• Maintain punctual, reliable attendance.

Pay range: $28 - $40 hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Must be a Journeyman Electrician.
• Must have Tremendous Customer Service Skills, Written and Verbal.
• Understand Troubleshooting Techniques.
• Independent Worker with Little to No Direct Supervision.
• Install and Troubleshoot lighting, panels, disconnects, conduit, solar panels, inverters.
• Aware of NEC code and making sure all work is code compliant.
• Inventory and Tool Management.
• Ability to use basic installation tools, power tools and hand tools.
• Good physical condition, able to lift minimum of 50lbs, and have the ability to climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass background check and Drug Screen.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance record.

Experience

• 4+ years Electrical and/or Service experience.
