Job description

Join to apply for the Journeyman Electrician role at Facility Solutions Group.

This is a traveling position based out of Cincinnati, with occasional Prevailing Wage work (up to $75/hr). The schedule includes traveling for 10 days (2 paid travel days + 8 working days) and 4 days off. Hotels are paid for by FSG.

Responsibilities:

• Plan layouts, install, and repair wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
• Mentor Apprentice Electricians and promote safety and customer service.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to install wiring and equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Plan installation to minimize waste and ensure accessibility and safety.
• Install control and distribution apparatus, Buss, Busbar, feeders, and switchgear.
• Repair faulty equipment or systems.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs as needed.
• Advise management on equipment safety.
• Maintain current electrician's license or ID as per regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of experience in the field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Lighting experience is a plus.

• Salary range: USD $28.00 - USD $75.00/hr.
