Journeyman Electrician

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment type: Full‑time
Salary range: $32–$55 per hour (about $66,560–$114,400 per year). Our pay range sits near the top of the market and comes with overtime, a bi‑weekly pay schedule and rapid advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Carry standard equipment and parts; travel between job locations
• Inspect, assess and diagnose electrical issues; communicate with clients about necessary repairs or upgrades
• Choose appropriate materials, install and maintain wiring, plugs, panels and switchgear
• Set up and maintain electrical machines and troubleshoot equipment
• Monitor inventory, log time and materials for each job and maintain accurate records
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and provide professional, friendly service
• Mentor apprentices and assist master electricians on large projects

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
