DuPont seeks an experienced Electric & HVAC Maintenance Technician (Journeyman Certified) to keep Auburn Hills, MI R&D site facilities running safely and efficiently. You will operate and repair HVAC, electrical, and process equipment, with SAP/LIMS documentation and coordination with contractors.

The role combines hands-on maintenance with administrative duties, involving preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety/compliance responsibilities across labs and facilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, industrial maintenance, or related field.
• Journeyman-level HVAC or electrical certification.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, or R&D setting.
• Advanced troubleshooting and repair experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, controls, and related systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently.
• Willingness to share knowledge and support safety culture.

Responsabilités

• Operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and utilities, including HVAC, process equipment, electrical systems, controls, and related building equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Serve as ERP for assigned equipment, including inspections, calibrations, verifications, and documentation in SAP and LIMS.
• Troubleshoot routine and moderately complex facility issues while following SOPs and safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance work with facility staff, internal teams, and contractors.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and procure materials, tools, parts, and supplies.
• Support EH&S, environmental, quality, life safety standards, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety requirements.
• Identify and support improvements that enhance safety, performance, efficiency, and reliability.
