Job summary

CD & Power in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced Diesel Generator Technician to join our team. The role delivers on-site repairs, maintenance, and services for a variety of generators, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The technician will follow technician procedures, complete required paperwork, and support bidding and training initiatives as needed. Qualified candidates have six years of relevant work history, a valid California driver's license, and the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant work history as a Diesel Generator Technician.
• Valid CA driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Experience performing repairs, services, and maintenance on generators.

Responsibilities

• Complete CD & Power Training as needed for this position.
• Perform jobs as assigned by the Service Writer with minimal supervision.
• Fulfill paperwork requirements.
• Assist the supervisor with bidding jobs.
• Meet or exceed bid labor times 95% of the time.
• Lead by example in attitude, safety, productivity, and cleanliness.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Perform all aspects of repairs, services, and maintenance on various generators.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Be a “team player”.

We need an experienced, independent, and motivated Diesel Generator Technician for our Sacramento, CA facility with at least 6 years of relevant work history. Qualified candidates must have a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record, pass a pre-employment background and drug screening, and be available to work overtime, as needed.
