Job summary

Great Waters Federal is seeking an Air Force (AF) Data Entry Analyst in Dayton, OH for SAF/FMFO Accounting Policy Operations. You will interact with DAF Major Commands and bases, analyze, reconcile, and correct transactions to address accounting discrepancies with meticulous attention to detail.

The role requires AF FM experience and familiarity with DoD FM processes, and involves communicating with senior leaders. Proficiency in Power BI and Excel is a plus; U.S.

Qualifications

• Three years of AF FM experience.
• Experience in DoD FM processes and procedures for posting accounting entries.
• Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers.

Responsibilities

• Navigate AF accounting systems to perform data entry and/or data correction.
• Analyze financial data using MS Excel and Power BI.
• Analyze/resolve accounting issues identified by FM customers.
• Provide support to SAF/FMF teams (surge and end-of-year processes).
• Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics and data analysis results.

Job Overview

Great Waters Federal is seeking a Air Force (AF)Data Entry Analyst in Dayton, OH and various other locations in the U.S. for the SAF/FMFO Accounting Policy Operations. The successful candidate will serve and interact with DAF Major Commands and bases in support of the day-to-day operations of Financial Management. The candidate will analyze, reconcile, and correct necessary transactions to account for accounting discrepancies, such as missing contract mods, incorrect disbursements, missing accounts receivables bills, and D-to-O balancing. They should demonstrate impeccable attention to detail as well as solid functional end-to-end AF Financial Management Accounting or Budget experience.

Responsibilities

• Navigate AF accounting systems as well as feeder systems to perform data entry and/or data correction
• Analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Power BI
• Analyze/resolve accounting issues identified by FM customers
• Provide support to the other teams within SAF/FMF, e.g., surge and end of year processes
• Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis

Basic Qualifications

• Three years of AF FM experience
• Experience in DoD FM processes and procedures for posting accounting entries
• Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers
• Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
