Job summary

Apex Controls is seeking a skilled Journeyman Controls Electrician to support installation, startup, and commissioning of industrial automation systems. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who enjoys solving problems, working in diverse industrial environments, and partnering with engineers and customers to deliver successful projects.

You will install control systems, run conduit, wire devices, and interpret electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and one-line drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical controls and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial control systems and automation equipment
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical devices
• Install and wire PLC panels, HMIs, drives, motors, and field instrumentation
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents

• Travel to customer sites as needed
