The ideal candidate is safety-focused, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Applicants must hold a Michigan Journeyman Electrician license and have 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Michigan Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, troubleshooting, and installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with commercial service work, tenant improvements, and maintenance projects.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Install conduit, panels, breakers, lighting systems, and control wiring
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and team members
• Complete service reports, work orders, and project documentation accurately
• Assist with emergency service calls as needed
