Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Journeyman- Computer Scientist to support a Federal Government client. Availability is contingent upon contract award.

You will apply computer science, statistics, and data analysis to develop automated solutions for engineering and data management problems, focusing on ADP systems and software. A BS/BA in a technical field is required, with Top Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of computer science concepts and statistics for automated data solutions.
• Ability to design data structures and interfaces for data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply automated solutions to engineering, scientific, or business data problems.
• Analyze data and design architectural and functional specifications.
• Research applications for ADP hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Write, modify, and adapt programs in machine level, assembly, and higher languages.

Desired experiences

• * Has at least 3 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description.
• * Applies knowledge of computer science concepts and techniques, mathematics, and methods of statistical analysis to develop and apply automated solutions to engineering, scientific, or business data acquisition and management problems.
• * Uses mathematical, statistical, and scientific logic to identify conceptual or theoretical solutions to problems of automated data processing (ADP) hardware or software systems design and operations.
