Enterprise Electrical in Austin, TX seeks a Working Journeyman to join the team and contribute to high voltage installations and conduit work in commercial settings.

The role requires a valid TX Journeyman or Master Electrician license, and 1–5 years of field experience or completion of an electrical apprenticeship. This position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• License: Current TX electrical journeyman or master license.
• Experience: 1–5 years documented field work in commercial industry or completion of 1–2 year electrical apprenticeship.
• Travel: Willing to travel as needed.
• Punctual, motivated and detail oriented.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment.
• Install various types of Electrical Conduit systems according to NEC.
• Setup and maintain temporary power systems.
• Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
• Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications.
• Cut, bend, and run conduit as specified on blueprints.
• Install junction boxes, panels, switches, plugs and fixtures.
• Terminate wires and cables to electrical equipment such as breakers, control panels, and distribution systems.
• Communicate and work under the direct Supervisor/Foreman (Licensed Journeyman and/or Master Electrician).
• Work well under pressure with delays, tight timelines, or urgent demands.
• Ability to work well with others - team player.
• Knowledgeable about building a service.
• Follow all instructed safety regulations and remain detail oriented.

We are seeking Working Journeyman to join our team in Austin, TX.

Basic Qualifications

• Active TX ID or DL
• Must have a valid TX Journeyman TDLR License
• Social Security Card
• Tools
• Reliable Transportation
• Able to take and pass a background check

Specific Responsibilities

• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment
• Install various types of Electrical Conduit systems according to NEC

• Good Vision: Have excellent vision, including color vision, is necessary to identify different wires and components
• Coordination: Have good hand-eye coordination for precise work with electrical components and tools
• Balance: Be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, or in elevated positions requires good balance to ensure safety
