The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Journeyman CMPro Systems Administrator to support the enterprise operations of USSTRATCOM by managing and optimizing the CMPro (Configuration Management Pro) system. This position involves ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of CMPro applications, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Systems Administrator (CMPro), Journeyman:

  • Responsible for the administration of enterprise support for facility asset management (e.g., CMPRO) in managing and maintaining servers, networks, and software

  • Possesses and applies expertise in installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software to ensure system security

  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues

  • Monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements

  • Supports Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and other system outages as needed

  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks

  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs

  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on configuration management systems

  • Familiarity with CMPro or similar tools is preferred

  • Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Basic; A+ or CND or Network+; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

  • Additional Cert: N/A

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance

The proposed salary range for this position is:
