Job summary

E&K Building Excellence in Omaha is hiring for long-term projects across Omaha, Lincoln, and Columbus, NE. We offer up to $38/hour for journeymen plus benefits.

Responsibilities include installing hanger wire, grid, and suspension systems, measuring and cutting tile, erecting scaffolds, and calculating unit costs. Equal opportunity employer, with safety training and policies in place to support our workers.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 65 lbs and frequent heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
• Dexterous use of fingers and hands for tool handling and installation.
• Standing or walking for long hours and climbing scaffolds when required.
• Vision suitable to use tools and perform tasks safely.
• Willingness to participate in company safety training and policies.

Responsibilities

• Install hanger wire, grid, and suspension systems for tile and other materials.
• Measure and cut tile for installation.
• May include cleanup, scraping, moving material, tools, or equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds.
• Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
