Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Carpenter Journeyman to provide skilled craftsmanship for formwork, finish carpentry and drywall. The role involves studying blueprints, measuring dimensions, and coordinating with the team to deliver quality builds.

Responsibilities include setting door frames, hanging doors, installing hardware, and completing finish carpentry tasks. Strong teamwork and apprenticeship background are preferred; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine material requirements and measure dimensions.
• Perform concrete and rough carpentry (hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, slabs, columns, drywall).
• Set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware.
• Complete finish carpentry tasks (toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, partitions, lockers, cabinets, countertops, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, running trim).
• Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
