Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in San Diego area.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• No DUI’s.
• Proficiency in carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall is highly appreciated.
• Experience coordinating with sub-contractors and understanding plans/documents.
• Knowledge of infection control in hospital construction is appreciated.
• Computer skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical suite remodels from start to finish.
• Perform demolition and rebuild to customer specifications.
• Include cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, and door assemblies.
• Frame, drywall, plan reading, and related carpentry tasks.
• Maintain a clean workspace and assist teammates as needed.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and review construction plans.

Our team specializes in the development of MRI, CT, X-Ray, and multi-modality hospital facilities from start to finish, as needed to support newly designed medical equipment from vendors such as GE, Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba, and others.

We pay this full-time Journeyman position top pay of $32.00-$52.00/hour. As a Journeyman Carpenter, your primary tasks are to manage medical suite remodels, perform demolition, and re-build to customer specifications. This includes all structures from cabinets and countertops to flooring, lighting, and door assemblies. You use your carpentry skills to perform other tasks too, such as framing, drywall, plan reading, and more. All your interactions are friendly, you keep your workspace clean, and you assist wherever else you can. If you can do that and meet the following requirements, we’d love to have you join our team. We are looking to hire and train a journeyman candidate based out of the San Diego area.
