Skillit in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter to join a commercial crew on-site. You will perform layout, formwork, framing and finish carpentry on mid- to large-scale projects, with a hands-on approach and a culture of teamwork.

You will read blueprints, install forms, joinery, trim, and ensure work meets plumb and level. Expect regular overtime, safety-focused work, and opportunities for skilled trade advancement. Reliable transportation and strong attendance are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years commercial carpentry experience on concrete, framing and finish scope.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout points, and cut lists.
• Proven skill with hand tools, saws, drills, levels and layout instruments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime when required.

About this roleWe're hiring a Journeyman Carpenter to join a commercial construction crew on a project in Fletcher, NC. You will work on-site performing layout, formwork, framing and finish carpentry on mid- to large-scale projects. Expect a hands-on role with clear daily tasks and a crew-focused environment. Typical schedule is day shifts with regular overtime as needed. You'll report to the site foreman, follow site safety procedures and keep work areas organized.
