Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth seeks a Journeyman Body Shop Technician to perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks. You will handle pre/post repair washes, bodywork, parts replacements, and installs on new trucks in a well-equipped shop.

The role requires 5+ years in diesel truck repairs, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. CDL is a plus; own tools required; Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing repairs on all makes and models of diesel trucks.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little supervision.
• Driver's license with a good driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks, including pre/post repair washes, bodywork, parts replacement and installs on new trucks.
• Execute assigned repairs with accuracy in a team-oriented shop environment.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Journeyman Body Shop Technician, you will perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6- 8 trucks, including performing pre/post repair washes, bodywork, replacement of parts, installs on new trucks, and other minor repairs as assigned. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself working alongside other trained Technicians in a body shop that has all the support and resources you need to perform top-notch work on heavy trucks.

This team member will work Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 5 or more years of experience performing repairs on all makes and models of diesel trucks.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Driver's license with a good driving record. A CDL is preferred, but not required.
• Must have own tools.

Compensation: $32-41.58/hr (Depending on Experience)
