River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is seeking a Journeyman Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in a fast-paced environment. Located at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, the role emphasizes diagnosing, repairing to manufacturer standards, and building customer trust through reliable service.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ Journeyman experience, be self-motivated, and participate in ongoing training and certification programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay
