Job summary

The City of Albuquerque seeks a licensed Journeyman Electrician to monitor and maintain airport jetbridges and baggage systems, install and repair high and low voltage transmission, lighting, control and alarm systems, and troubleshoot electrical issues across the division AV-Bldg Maint.

The role requires a high school diploma, five years of experience, NM Driver's License, COP, NM Journeyman Electrical license, and ability to obtain a Sunport Access Card; benefits include a robust total rewards

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of electronic or electrical systems installation, maintenance and repair experience at the electrical journeyman level.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain jetbridge loading systems, and related components; troubleshoot power and control systems.
• Install and maintain lighting, alarm, and control systems across airport facilities.
• Repair and calibrate electrical and hydraulic subsystems in jetbridges and baggage handling.
• Maintain security and communications cabling; ensure compliance with TSA and department policies.
• Assist in emergency repairs and coordinate with Aviation, Airline and Tenant Managers when needed.
