E&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman A/V Technician to support USSOCOM at Peterson SFB, CO. The role requires expert AV/VTC hardware knowledge, scheduling VTC sessions, and hands-on maintenance of equipment.

You will install displays, endpoints, and audio-visual gear while providing high-level support for VIP events. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and are expected to work on-site at Peterson SFB, CO with top-secret clearance eligibility.

E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Journeyman A/V Technician to join our team in Peterson SFB, CO in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). USSOCOM develops and employs the world's finest SOF to conduct global special operations and activities as part of the Joint Force, in concert with the U.S. Government Interagency, Allies, and Partners, to support persistent, networked, and distributed combatant command operations and campaigns against state and non-state actors all to protect and advance U.S. policies and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

The AV/VTC Technician requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software and network connections. VTC schedulers must have expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges, hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points, as well as experience setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting AV equipment (displays, microphones, sound boards etc.).

Typical Duties Include:

• Install, configure, manage, maintain, operate, and defend common area VTC equipment, including day-to-day setup, scheduling, and monitoring
• Schedule, coordinate, and administer multiple simultaneous VTC sessions
• Provide dedicated support to VTCs attended by Very Important Persons (VIPs)
• Recommend upgrades to VTC systems
• Provide version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs
• Install flat panel displays, room based VTC endpoints, projectors, and A/V equipment
• Resolve issues down to the equipment level (black box)
• Manage, maintain, and post a daily MSL and shift change procedures
• Schedule, configure, and connect users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences
• Train designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment
