Job summary

Roofingsource- in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Journeyman to install and maintain low-sloped roof systems, reading manufacturer specs and following safety standards. You will create client reports via tablet and support the Foreman with training and directing crew members.

This full-time position offers compensation of $20.00–$25.00 per hour and requires solid teamwork and professional communication on active projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Experience with roofing or related trade is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate tablets/smartphones for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low-sloped roof systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM); 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• Operate tools and equipment including Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch.
• Follow job specs, warranties, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Create client reports via tablet and use technology for communication/receipts.
• Support Foreman with communication, training, and directing crew members.

Description

The Journeyman will perform installation and maintenance of low-sloped roof systems and membranes. Candidate will be proficient in reading and following manufacturer installation and warranty conditional specs, as well as operating within company outlined safety standards. Journeymen will creat client reports via tablet. Supports the Foreman with communication, training, and directing crew members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low-sloped roof systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM); 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• Operate tools and equipment including Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch (preferred).
• Follow job specs, warranties, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Prior roofing or related trade experience is preferred but not required.
