Re:Build Manufacturing in Rochester, NY is seeking a journey-level pipefitter with 10+ years of hands-on experience to join our manufacturing team.

You will cut, fit, and install pipe systems for custom industrial machines, read engineer blueprints, and travel to local customer sites with occasional overtime and per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• Journeyman pipefitter with an apprenticeship or 10–15 years of hands-on experience.
• Welding skills including MIG/TIG/FCAW; 6G certification is a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and math.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred; CDL Class A preferred.
• Able to travel to Rochester area and work Monday–Friday 6:30am–2:30pm with overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fit, and install pipe systems for custom industrial machines and process skids.
• Join pipe by threading, soldering, brazing, MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding techniques.
• Read and work from engineer-issued blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Travel to local customer sites in the Rochester area, with occasional overtime and per diem travel for projects outside the region.
• Operate material movement equipment to safely lift and position pipes, supports, and heavy machinery.
• Inspect pipe systems and identify issues early to ensure work meets quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, project managers, and customers.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, participate in toolbox talks, and report any unsafe conditions.

• Read and work from engineer‑issued blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Travel to local customer sites in the Rochester area, with occasional overtime and per diem travel for projects outside the region

What you bring to the Team

• Journey-level pipefitting experience with a completed apprenticeship program or minimum of 10-15 years of experience
• Skill in pipe joining techniques such as threading, soldering, brazing, and welding (MIG, TIG, FCAW); holding a 6G pipe welder certification is advantageous
• Strong blueprint reading skills and trade mathematics
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
• CDL Class A license preferred
• Physical ability to perform pipefitter tasks including working from heights and confined spaces
• Availability for a full‑time schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, with flexibility for overtime and travel.

The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $45. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long‑term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
