Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Joint Wargaming and Experimentation Division (JWED) as part of the Globally Integrated Wargame Modernization effort for Joint Staff J7. This hybrid role is based at the Joint Staff Complex in Suffolk, VA.
In this position, you will help deploy and configure AI solutions—including large language models (LLMs)—in secure, air‑gapped environments. We’re looking for someone with strong foundational Linux and containerization skills who is eager to work with emerging AI technologies. Deep model training expertise is not required.
Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Software Engineer family.
