Job summary

IDS International is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Joint Special Operations) to support Mission Command Exercises focused on Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) and Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF) training objectives, delivering expert guidance on joint operations and SOF mission command training.

The selected candidate will participate in planning, coordination, and execution of exercises, develop objectives and scenarios, and support TSOC/JSOTF training scenarios for SOF

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Graduate of Army officer training and higher staff colleges or equivalents.
• Two years’ experience in SOF HQ staff with joint-operations focus.
• One year researching, planning and executing Mission Command Exercises for TSOC/JSOTF.
• Knowledge of strategic-level theory and national security guidance.
• Graduate of JSOU or equivalent courses.

Responsibilities

• Support Mission Command Exercise planning, preparation, coordination, and execution activities.
• Provide subject matter expertise on joint operations within Special Operations Forces environments.
• Support TSOC and JSOTF training scenarios.
• Assist with research and development of exercise objectives and scenarios.
• Support mission command training activities for SOF units.
