General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a JLVC Systems Administrator II (C4ISR) to join the Joint Multinational Simulation Center–Pacific. You will provide senior technical leadership for JLVC IT networks, establish secure connections, and sustain complex simulation environments.

A SECRET clearance is required with eligibility for TS/SCI, and US citizenship is mandatory. The role includes guidance to exercise leadership on C4ISR architectures, collaboration with remote teams,

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for design, integration, operation, and sustainment of JLVC IT networks and training enviroments
• Lead secure connectivity between mission command systems, simulation enclaves, and external networks
• Perform advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and change execution for communications infrastructure
• Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and tech refreshes to maintain availability and security
• Lead complex troubleshooting across multiple enclaves and platforms to resolve issues
• Act as technical authority for network boundary and enclave operations; mentor junior staff
• Advise leadership on C4ISR architectures and solutions to improve training outcomes
• Drive innovation to improve JLVC reliability, interoperability, and scalability
• Interface with customers to identify requirements and coordinate solutions
• Participate in special projects to support mission priorities

GDIT is seeking multiple qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Provide senior level technical leadership for the design, integration, operation, and sustainment of IT communications and network boundary architectures supporting large-scale military exercises and complex simulation environments.
• Lead the implementation and sustainment of secure connectivity between mission command systems, simulation enclaves, and external enterprise networks to ensure reliable, interoperable communications.
• Perform advanced configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and controlled change execution for communications infrastructure, network boundary systems, and associated technologies.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, technology refreshes, and configuration changes to maintain system availability, security, and operational readiness.
• Lead complex troubleshooting efforts across multiple network enclaves, operating systems, communications architectures, and mission command platforms to rapidly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Serve as the technical authority for network boundary and enclave operations; establish technical standards, provide guidance, and mentor junior personnel to strengthen team capabilities and technical proficiency.
• Advise exercise leadership, technical teams, and key stakeholders on C4ISR architectures, system capabilities, technical limitations, and potential solutions to improve training effectiveness and mission outcomes.
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance JLVC system reliability, interoperability, scalability, and operational realism.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and stakeholders, identifying requirements, resolving technical issues, coordinating solutions, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Participate in special projects and other technical initiatives as required to support organizational objectives, exercise requirements, and mission priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: BA/BS preferred (in computer science, information systems, engineering, systems administration or related field with concentration in computer-based technology); or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience; Military and/or MTC experience preferred
• Required Technical Skills: Advanced Administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of mission command systems within JLVC environments
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP. Firewalls, and network troubleshooting
• Experience with installation, configuration, hardening, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise servers
• Strong ability to integrate and troubleshoot C4ISR systems, simulation applications, interfaces, and distributed training architectures
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V or similar platforms for deploying and managing virtualized systems
• Certification: SEC+ required
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills
• Strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms
• Demonstrate advanced problem solving and analytical skills to resolve complex C4ISR systems
• Adapt quickly to evolving architectures, technologies, exercise requirements, and operational priorities
• Location: On Customer Site/moderate travel to other customer sites throughout Pacific AoR

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $123,906. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
