Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is urgently seeking compassionate caregivers in Largo, Clearwater, Seminole, and surrounding areas. You will work one-on-one with seniors at home, performing non-medical services to enhance their quality of life.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with higher rates for shorter shifts and various benefits. Roles include companionship, daily living assistance, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transport as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Active CPR certification or willing to get certified.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must pass State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Help with medications as required.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.

All shifts for Caregiver/CNA/HHA positions available. Cases available in Pinellas and Pasco County.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

• Starting at $17.00 per hour based on client care experience and certification
• Higher hourly rate for short shifts

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Help with medication as required
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications And Skills

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one
