Job summary

Action Property Management is seeking an experienced HOA Community Manager in Texas to oversee 4 to 7 communities with dedicated support. You will work with Boards of Directors to align on budgets, reserve studies, and governing documents, travel to properties for in-person meetings, and ensure timely communication and issue follow-up.

We value CMCA certification and 3–5 years of HOA portfolio management experience, along with strong budgets, audits, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of HOA portfolio management experience.
  • CMCA certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Evening availability for Board meetings.
  • Ability to travel to and from properties for in-person meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of budgets and budgeting process.
  • Understanding of audits, reserve studies, bidding, and governing documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and time management.
  • Independent work and timely issue follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 4 to 7 communities with dedicated departmental support.
  • Collaborate with Boards of Directors on budgets and reserve studies.

Portfolio Community Managers generally manage 4 to 7 communities and are provided dedicated support from key departments. This allows our Community Managers to stay focused on their key objectives and offer a level of service, expertise and knowledge that surpasses our client's expectations.

What You Need
  • 3-5 years of HOA portfolio management experience.
  • CMCA certification or ability to obtain within your first 6 months of employment.
  • Evening availability for Board meetings.
  • Ability to travel to and from your property for in-person meetings when needed.
  • Keen knowledge of budgets and the budgeting process.
  • Strong knowledge of audits, reserve studies, bidding process, and Association governing documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to following up on all issues in a timely manner.
