Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking a JM LEAD Graduate to join a world leader in platinum group metals. You will rotate across Science, Commercial and Operations over 2.5 years and work on projects that improve performance, sustainability and growth.

Collaborate with colleagues worldwide while developing leadership capabilities. The role emphasizes applying technical and analytical skills, solving complex challenges, and building broad business understanding with exposure to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Environmental Science or related field (minimum 3.2 GPA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with practical application.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in developing as a future leader.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and own deliverables.
• Geographic flexibility and willingness to travel across JM locations.

The role:

• Completing three rotational placements over 2.5 years across key business areas including Science, Commercial and Operations.
• Leading and supporting business-critical projects that improve performance, sustainability, growth and operational excellence.
• Collaborating with colleagues across global teams to deliver solutions and build broad business understanding.
• Applying technical and analytical skills to solve complex challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Building leadership capability through structured development and exposure to senior stakeholders.
• Contributing to projects that create value through innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Environmental Science or related field required (Master’s degree or higher a plus) (Minimum 3.2 GPA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical settings.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a genuine interest in developing as a future leader.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and take ownership of deliverables.
• Geographic flexibility and willingness to travel or undertake assignments across JM locations.
