Role Description

Based in Santa Clara, CA, the Sr. R&D Engineer (Clinical Engineering) will develop innovative products for cardiovascular disease treatment, participating in projects from concept to commercialization. The role involves designing, prototyping, testing, and supporting manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop products per FDA, ISO, and MDD requirements
• Create prototypes and proof of concept models
• Analyze and source materials for prototypes
• Manage documentation in line with quality systems
• Perform in-vitro, in-vivo, verification, and validation testing
• Support pilot manufacturing processes
• Maintain relationships with suppliers
• Stay updated on technological and medical developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience or Master’s with 3+ years’ experience

Compensation & Benefits
