Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Manufacturing Technician (Swing Shift) in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves developing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, supporting innovation in medical devices, particularly in Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) for cardiovascular disease. The technician will perform complex technical assignments independently, design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, and support quality and validation activities.

Responsibilities
  • Support development and manufacturing teams by testing products, processes, or equipment to meet requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with hands-on technical skills.
  • Train new employees and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, propose process improvements, analyze data, and support validation studies.
  • Organize project tasks, facilitate training sessions, and support production as needed, including Saturdays.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant medical device experience.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm) and overtime.
  • Knowledge of Quality System regulations (QSRs, FDA, ISO, MDD).
  • Experience with 5S, Lean, waste reduction, equipment maintenance, PLCs, pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs and work in various environments.
Additional Information
