Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Technician performs complex or specialized technical assignments, often project-based, requiring independence. Responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining or modifying manufacturing equipment, materials, systems and products. The role involves troubleshooting, setting up and maintaining equipment, and recommending process improvements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support development and manufacturing teams by testing products, processes, or equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Master processes and train new employees.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and partners.
  • Analyze data, report findings, and support validation studies.
  • Manage project assignments and facilitate training sessions.
  • Support production on Saturdays as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 1+ years experience in medical device manufacturing or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of quality systems (QSRs, FDA, ISO, etc.), 5S, Lean, and waste reduction.
  • Experience with equipment maintenance, PLCs, pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 25lbs and work in varied environments.

Additional Information:

  • Base pay: $39,100 - $69,000 annually.
  • Performance bonuses, benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off included.
