Job Description

Medical Devices & Diagnostics Global Services, LLC, a division of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Lead Product Analyst, MedTech R&D Product Lifecycle Management. This role is open for candidates based anywhere in the US.

Position Summary

The Product Analyst (PA) IT Lead for MedTech R&D PLM at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for leading the delivery of system updates for the enterprise-wide PLM platform, PTC Windchill. The role requires a deep understanding of the PLM system and its relation to business processes, along with the ability to drive efficient delivery while managing multiple priorities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Translate user challenges and system opportunities into detailed requirements and documentation.
  • Assess technical feasibility and procedural compliance of requests.
  • Lead a squad by setting priorities, defining scope, and communicating the roadmap to global teams.
  • Ensure system releases occur every 5-8 weeks, managing urgent releases as needed.
  • Address production issues with actionable solutions, analyzing root causes and impacts.
  • Collaborate with Product and Platform Managers to align delivery with business needs.
  • Manage dependencies and coordinate with other squads and stakeholders.
  • Communicate system status and issues to business users and leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years of PLM domain experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions and working with PLM in the Medical Devices industry.
  • Experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink.
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Skills
  • SAFe certification.
  • Experience with PLM data migration and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD practices.
Additional Information
