This is a field-based remote role in the preferred locations: West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Ohio, Michigan. This is a field-based/remote role available within the Continental United States. - Purpose: The US Associate Director of Provider Relations is a critical customer-facing role responsible for leading innovative programs supporting healthcare transformation and access to innovative technologies. Tapping into expertise in health economics, health policy, and reimbursement, they lead discussions with influential decision-makers within key accounts to support strategic and product-level decisions. As a key member of a results-oriented team, the role involves executing innovative value-based care initiatives, including outcomes-based agreements. The Associate Director will also present economic models, share market access insights, disseminate economic evidence, and execute HEMA strategies with accounts. The role also involves supporting and partnering with internal teams to develop strategic account plans and market access capabilities. Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with customers and serving as a conduit for customer insights are also key responsibilities.
- Responsibilities include: executing customer-facing Provider Relation strategies for JJMTS products/services, deploying tailored strategies for provider requirements, integrating customer insights and reimbursement landscape into programs, partnering with HEMA functions to deploy resources, supporting market access initiatives, monitoring reimbursement changes, and collaborating across teams to align priorities and strategies. Promoting innovative approaches to expand the impact of Provider Relations and HEMA teams is also essential.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in health policy, health economics, business, public health, or related fields preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Medical Device, Pharma, or Health Plan industry with proven impact in health economic evidence, policy, and reimbursement. US market experience with understanding of delivery systems, reimbursement, and health policy in the US is required. Experience with medical devices, health economic evidence communication, and reimbursement is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to develop and execute strategies, strong communication skills, and up to 50% domestic travel.
