Cook / Prep Cook
Introductory Period

From the date of hire, there is a 180-day introductory period for all new hires. Excellent attendance and schedule flexibility are required. During this period, performance will be evaluated to identify areas for improvement, additional training, or employment dismissal if necessary.

Essential Job Functions
  • Wear a proper, clean uniform at all times, including nametag, pants, hat, etc.
  • Be punctual and follow all call-in procedures if absent.
  • Ensure food is stored at proper temperatures, following the temperature chart and log.
  • Maintain food quality and adhere to recipes.
  • Follow FIFO procedures: label, date, rotate stock.
  • Maintain presentation, accuracy, and speed.
  • Keep work area clean and sanitized.
  • Keep display case stocked and clean, clean as you go.
  • Follow additional side duties assigned by management.
  • Have adequate English comprehension for safety, instructions, policies, and guest service.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and see for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Capable of safely lifting and moving boxes and supplies weighing 25 lbs or more.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with limited movement.
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Properly use, store, and handle chemicals and cleaning products safely.
