Job summary

C & B Operations in Jackson, MN is seeking a John Deere Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain agricultural equipment for customers and dealers. You will work on-site at our Jackson location, following safety procedures and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks, including lifting.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs required for skill development.
• Completes all job notes related to work assignments.
• Accounts for time and materials used via digital timecard.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Promotes the service department to increase service and parts sales.
• Follows safety procedures and works in a safe manner.

C & B Operations has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a John Deere Service Tech for our location in Jackson, Minnesota. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Qualifications:

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
• Valid Drivers License and a safe driving record
