C & B Operations, LLC is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for our Sheridan, Wyoming John Deere dealership. You will diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment, while maintaining safe, organized work areas and accurate time and materials records. Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of exertion for job tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.
• Knowledge of repair methods for machinery, engines and related equipment; mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Maintains accurate time entries on digital timecard and records material usage.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Keeps current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Promotes and sells service department to customers and increases safety and satisfaction.

C & B Operations is a progressive company that has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a Mechanic for our John Deere dealership location in Sheridan, WY. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Promotes and sells the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts to increase customer safety and satisfaction
• Follows all safety procedures and works in a safe manner
• Assists with other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
• Valid Drivers License and a safe driving record
